The 4/5 Academy at Fifth Avenue is gearing up and starting to prepare for an IPAD initiative rollout for the upcoming school year (2013-2014). Because of your expertise, your names were recommended to serve on the professional learning development team. The team's charge is the following:
1. Develop a professional learning plan that organizes appropriate IPad content and
use with pedagogical content knowledge.
2. To outline in the professional learning plan a session that is a quick getting started
session for teachers to implement the pilot phase during the Spring of this school year that focuses on IPad management and use.
3. To outline in the professional learning plan any processes for parent learning.
The tentative deadline for us to have a draft plan is February 28, 2013. I believe that we can accomplish this work with no more than three meetings from 3:00-4:30/5:00. Meetings will be held at 4/5 Academy. Meeting dates are below:
